About Me

Welcome! I am a web developer located in central Florida. I am currently a senior at the University of South Florida Polytechnic within their Information Technology program. While juggling a full load of classes, I work full time for The Schools of McKeel Academy, a group of K12 charter schools.

I develop, maintain, and support each of the individual school websites, a district website, and numerous online school administration tools. I am also responsible for student and staff email — done through an integrated Google Apps instance.

I love developing because of the logic puzzles and challenges associated with it. I was first exposed to web design when I was 12, over ten years ago. I became so enthralled with it that I started teaching myself outside of the classroom with the support of my teacher.

Of course, I started out small and developed simple websites based around my hobbies at the time. I quickly learned and started developing back-end applications with ASP. My first remarkable application was at age 14: I developed a technology support help desk used by over 120 school faculty members and over 1400 students.

Outside of developing, I enjoy being around my friends and family. Last year, I took up cycling with a few friends and lost 50 pounds in the process. I love working outside on the property and caring for our animals.
